How long has the band
been together?
Our first gig was on May 3, 2004. But really, the origins of the Flashback
rock 'n soul band date back to the early 1970s when
a few of the members worked for a short time on a Georgia
prison chain gang. They eventually escaped where they made their way up
North and found work with the band. And as they say, the rest is
history.

Yes. We enjoy doing wedding and private events. We can play any type of
music to fit your needs, and can expand the band line-up to add additional
players depending on your budget.
What is "rock 'n soul"
music?
According to the Smithsonian Institution, “Rock ‘n’ Soul: Social
Crossroads” is the story of the body of
music that had the most influence on the culture and lifestyles of the
world during the middle 20th Century
unto this day. It affected the way we walked, the way we talked, the way
we combed our hair and the
way we dressed – not only in Memphis or the nation, but the entire world.
Do you take requests?
Yes, if you write them on a $20 bill. But please don't ask us to play "The
Electric Slide."
Is your drummer Hal
Becker that same guy who flies around in that thing that looks like a
