Hal Becker - Drums, Percussion

Hal has been playing drums since he was 14 years old. This is the first band he
has played in with "real people" since 1976 and feels it is more fun that just goofing
around in the basement playing along to CD's. He still uses the original drums he
bought in 1968 while he was in junior high school. During the day, Hal is a best-
selling author and nationally known expert on sales, customer service, and

Bill Friedson - Guitar

Bill is the co-founder of Flashback. He has been playing guitar for almost 40 years. Until the last few years, he was mostly an acoustic finger-style player. Prior to launching Flashback, Bill played guitar in The Extremes. When he's not playing with the band, he moonlights (his day job) as a Psychologist and wannabee golfer. He is married to Annette and has two daughters, Katie and Rachel and son-in-law David.

Danny Friendly - Vocals

Danny is a Youngstown native who has over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. As one of the lead singers of doo wop legends' The Edsels who are famous for the song 'Rama Lama Ding Dong,' he tours internationally and shares the stage with many rock and roll legends and pioneers. He can be seen on the PBS special 'Rock, Pop, And Doo Wop' which was filmed in Pittsburgh in 2010. He has worked in the studio with Artists such as BJ Thomas, Crystal Gayle, and Antoinette and on stage with The Whispers, Stylistics, Chi-Lites, Ohio Players and Ojays to name a few. His influences range from Nat King Cole,The Beatles, Tempts, The Spinners, Marvin Gaye, Motown , The Sound of Philadelphia, Steely Dan really anybody he's heard! All in all performing is his passion, he loves to get the party started and see people having big fun!

 

 

Michael Lerner - Keyboards, Vocals

Michael is the co-founder and arranger for Flashback. He has been playing
various keyboards for nearly 40 years, but he still holds fond memories of his original Farfisa organ which he first played in a Cranford, NJ high school
rock ‘n roll band. He is the Marketing Manager at Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center.

Dave Rader - Bass, Vocals

Dave has over thirty years of performing experience and loves to see people
have a good time. He’s played in the bands Higher Ground and Brother Nature. Dave was the house sound and stage manager for "Jackie Lee's" in Akron. He owned and operated Aquarius Sound, and has worked with Dazz Band, Cameo, Walter Hawkins Singers, Baby Brother, and LeftEnd.

Felicia Rosati - Vocals

Felicia Rosati is a Cleveland native with many years of local experience. She has been the female lead vocalist for Cleveland’s City Heat for the past 8 years and
she has had the opportunity to sing with other local groups including: City Lite, Shake, Time Warp, The City Heat Trio, All Fired Up, and The Sensations. Felicia enjoys singing rock and roll, r&b, and country, and her influences include: Heart, Janis Joplin, Linda Rondstadt, Carol King, and Aretha Franklin. When Felicia is not rocking out, she is a wife, mom, and high school health teacher.

 

 

 

 

Norman Tischler - Saxophone, Flute

Norman Tischler was born in Brooklyn, NY. He put his way through college at New York University working with bands at hotels in the Catskill Mountains. Soon after coming to Cleveland as a VISTA Volunteer, he found work in the back up band on the Up Beat TV Show. In the ensuing years, he has toured nationally with Tiny Alice, Robert Lockwood, Jr., The Easy Street Band, Bill Dawg and the Extroadinairs, Mary Martin, The Bop Kats, and internationally with Travis Haddix. He also has worked with local bands including, Blue Lunch, Travelling Man, The Edsels, The Motion (featured in the film, "Light of Day starring Michael J. Fox), and The Gopher Broke Swing Band. When not gigging, Norman can be found teaching at Academy Music in Cleveland Heights, Arrowhead Music in Mentor, and Warren Henry Music in Chagrin Falls.
